General Skilled Migration
If you are a well-qualified individual wishing to migrate to Australia, there may very well be an opportunity for you to gain entry to Australia. It is likely that you will be able to apply in a category under which relevant skills, language ability and work experience are needed in order to satisfy Australian immigration requirements and to live and work in Australia.
People having any type of degree or diploma with job experience are eligible to apply under General Skilled Category for migration to Australia. The applicant must show good knowledge of English. This can be demonstrated by passing IELTS (International English Language Testing System) examination. For more information about IELTS please visit www.ielts.org People who have completed their degree or diploma in English medium are normally not required to pass IELTS.
Each category has different requirements for entry to Australia. In most cases you will need to satisfy the basic requirements and in many categories you must pass the points test.
Basic requirements
1. Age - you must be under 45 when you apply.
2. English language - you should have sufficient ability in the English language to work in Australia (at least at a vocational level).
3. Qualifications - you must have post-secondary qualifications and your skills must be assessed by the relevant assessing authority as suitable for your nominated occupation.
4. Nominated occupation - when you apply you nominate a skilled occupation, which fits your skills and qualifications. Your nominated occupation must be found on the Skilled Occupations List.
5. Recent work experience - the period of work experience required will vary depending on the number of points you may be granted for your nominated occupation.
6. Australian qualification exemption - you do not need to meet the work experience requirement if you have completed an Australian qualification less than 6 months before lodging your visa application.
7. Skills assessment - before you apply, you must have your skills assessed by the Australian assessing authority designated to assess your nominated occupation.
8. To be eligible the pass marks are 110.These marks come from age, English skills and job experience.
Consultancy Services:
In Australia, anybody who want to give advice regarding migration matters, need to be registered with the Migration Agents Registration Authority (MARA).To get registered one have to pass a test in Immigration Law. This is done to make sure that the person giving the advice knows about all the legal aspects of immigration rules. The agents are required to go under continuous professional development (CPD) to re-register them every year. Our Australian Consultant is a registered migration agent. From 1st of Nov2001 all applications for migration under general skilled category are to be lodged at Adelaide in Australia. No applications will be accepted at New Delhi or Bombay. It would be better for people to use migration agents based in Australia.
Free Assessment:
Anyone who wants to get his/her eligibility assessed, can send his or her bio-data to us. While writing the bio-data every detail about the job experience should be given. This means what are the duties and responsibilities of the job done by the person. If the person is married then the bio-data of the spouse should also be given. We can do a free assessment about one's eligibility to migrate to Australia.
Fee Details:
1. Service Charges: Rs.1,000/- (Refundable)
2. Professional Fee: Aus$ 2000 (50% Refundable)
3. Assessment of educational qualifications & experience by the relevant assessing authority (Govt. Nominated)-The fees varies between A$ 300-A$ 700.
4. Application fee payable to Department of Immigration at the time of lodging application-A$ 1125.
Payment of Fee by stages:
1. Service Charges of Rs.1,000/- or Aus to be paid immediately by the candidates while requesting Dasigi Overseas Staffing Inc., to process his/her case. (ie., after the receipt of the results of Free Assessment)
2. First instalment of professional fees of A$ 1,000 at the time of lodging your qualifications assessment application, apart from the educational assessment fee.
3. After getting positive skills assessment, you have to pay the remaining amount of professional fees of A$ 1,000, before lodgement of application, apart from the Application fee of A$ 1125, payable to Department of Immigration at the time of lodging application.
Refund Of Amount
If for any reason the application is unsuccessful, the applicant stand to lose the following amount:
1. Half of our professional fees (ie.,A$ 1,000 )
2. Assessment fees charged by the relevant authority (A$ 300 -A$ 700)
3. Application fee paid to the Department of Immigration (A$ 1125)
Balance Amount will be refunded
Reasons for rejection
Possible reasons for rejection of application for which we do not have any control:
a) Medical reasons,
b) Because of a criminal record,
c) Because of any false declaration made to the Embassy/High Commissions whether under this agreement or otherwise, and /or to the Consultant whether under this Agreement or otherwise.
d) Applicant decides to cancel the application after the investment proposal has been approved by the authorities.
e) Declares to an Immigration officer that he/or she has no intention of residing.
f) Failure by the Applicant to comply with a request by the authorities for the submission of additional documents, an exploratory visit or any other request deemed necessary by the visa issuing office.
g) In case of any changes of the immigration Laws and regulations.
h) The Applicant did not fulfill his obligations
