Canada Immigration Services

An Overview of the options
The number one reason people usually have for moving to Canada is to secure a better future for themselves and their kids. A better future apart from the safe and well-governed Canadian environment also includes securing a good job. As a foreign worker, you not only need to get a good job, but you also need to be authorized to work in Canada. There are two options for working legally in Canada. You can either travel to Canada on a temporary visa or apply for a work permit or you can become a permanent resident of Canada.

The Independent Immigrant (The Canadian points system)
On December 15, 2001 major changes were made to the Independent Immigrant Category. These represent the most significant changes made to the points system for over twenty years. The General Occupation list was discontinued and now anyone in a management, professional or highly skilled occupation may be in a position to qualify for entry.
The overall pass-mark has been increased to eighty points for all applications submitted on 17 December 2001 or after this date. If you applied before 17 December and you have not received a waiver to the interview requirement before this date you will have to now reach a points score of 75 points. Because of the nature of the changes this does not necessarily mean it is going to be more difficult for everyone. If you were previously not on the general occupation list you may very well benefit from the new scheme. You will also find it easier than before to gain points for a job offer, and will now gain points if you have a wife or common law partner with a high level of education.
Under the new points system increased emphasis is being given to people who have a strong connection to Canada. You will now gain more points for work experience in Canada, for having studied in Canada for two years and find it easier to gain points for an offer of employment in Canada. The Canadian Government feels that by putting emphasis on these factors and those mentioned above, they are more likely to attract people who can successfully establish themselves in Canada.
This is the most popular category for immigration to Canada. If you gain at least eighty points, and can show that you can successfully establish yourself in Canada, it is usually possible to gain entry to Canada under this Scheme.

BUSINESS IMMIGRATION
Introduction
Canada has three schemes for those in business: the entrepreneur scheme, the self-employed scheme, and the investor scheme. Unlike the US, Canada grants business people permanent residence relatively quickly. However, the Government will monitor the businesses of entrepreneurs and the self-employed to make sure that they are actually trading for the first two years. All the Canadian schemes are looking for people with proven business experience. Those planning to immigrate to Canada under the entrepreneur and self-employed schemes are advised to travel to Canada to do their own research before any application is made.
Entrepreneur Scheme:
On this scheme you do not need to invest the funds immediately but can do so after immigrating to Canada. It is advisable to do a considerable amount of research on possible business investments, have a proper business plan and show that there is a proven demand for your services in Canada. Your case is more likely to succeed if you can show that there will be some benefit to the Canadian economy. If you wish to acquire an existing business we have numerous contacts in Canada.
Self-Employed Scheme:
For the self-employed scheme you only need to employ yourself but generally only a limited number of occupations will be considered such as professional athletes, artists, active farmers or writers. In practice it is found on this scheme that self-employed artists are given a great deal of preference.
Investor Scheme:
We only recommend this scheme to clients who are very wealthy and do not wish to go to the trouble of setting up a business in Canada. This scheme is also recommended for those who wish to gain permanent residence quickly.

Free Assessment:
Anyone who wants to get his/her eligibility assessed can send his or her bio-data to us. While writing the bio-data every detail about the job experience should be given. This means what are the duties and responsibilities of the job done by the person. If the person is married then the bio-data of the spouse should also be given. We can do a free assessment about one's eligibility to migrate to Canada.
